Jarrad O'Loughlin
Jarrad been drilling since his teenage years; working with his Dad and his company Ozdrill. Starting with water bores and over the years broadening his skills to geotechnical and environmental drilling. Working with various other geotech companies expanded his skills and knowledge. And then going onto mine-sites to learn more about RC and air control. Rio Tinto gave Jarrad the opportunity to gain certs, including cert iv medic, in mine site emergency response, snake handling, mental health, D&A and mines rescue. All this, along with his supervisor experience makes him more than ready to run his own company and be an excellent mentor to our up and coming offsider.
Samantha O'Loughlin
Sam is a country girl, coming from up the midwest region in farming country. Her background is farming, truck driving, personal training and since moving to Perth being a storeperson/warehouse manager. Now she's managing director of Western Geotec. Being somewhat of a gypsy and frequently moving around and seeking adventure, the move to Perth was a struggle, but regular camping trips and getaways makes it bearable. Sam loves all things out doors, nature and wildlife.
Cameron Rodgers
Cameron came on board with us in March 2024, after his initial 3 months we brought him on full time with his determination, work ethic and grit to get the job done. Being completely green to the industry he still has skills to gain and a lot to learn but we believe with guidance and support provided by being part of a small family owned business we can mold him into a great offsider and hopefully get him up to being a driller.
In his youth Cameron did air-force cadets reaching a rank of cadet flight sergeant, worked hard in various roles and developed a great work ethic. Together Jarrad and Cameron will be a powerhouse team taking Western Geotec to the top of the list of chosen geotechnical drilling companies.
